Stock market investments now or later and who?

Actually it should hvae been .0660.

There's computers set up to mine stocks for the spreads. They cash in on little movements with big size while betting that a past swing point will be safe from ever getting stopped out for a loss. So they're aiming for .0005 of a move with big size and making money daily. 0.0660 is a past big swing point for the short side that alot of them might have a catastrophic stop loss at. That was actually on the weekly chart. A daily point is 0.0440.
They've probably been doing it on this thing for the past 10 years.

Edit: Not saying they're all going to be holding until they get stopped out. The name of the game is having the size to scale in and break even. So even if we get there it doesn't mean it's going to blow through it on the upside. Just means that jig might be up and one less thing out there putting selling pressure on this symbol.

@Ron here's hoping you got out when RITE was high. I sold mine at .018 and then bought back in at .0105, of course it has tanked since I bought back in, but I am only in it realistically around $750 so I don't stand to make much regardless.

I do wish I had paid more attention to WOLF and gotten out of that before it reverse split. I will never break even on it... This is why I don't really do stocks, I don't want to invest the days into researching when to buy and when to sell.

I’ve still got a couple million shares.
But I’ve cashed 100% of my initial investment in and this is house money.

I still believe a nickel is in the future

What’s y’all’s preferred portfolio?
Right now running my pre college kid thru sp500 investments on a monthly basis for 1 year followed by adding ad dividend producing fund year 2, then another stable year 3, then dividend. So on so forth.

An example I gave him

Year 1
100% schd
Year 2
50/50 schd vnq
Year 3
30/30/30 schd vnq div
Etc

Right now I put away $1k a month with a FIRE plan by 49

having $1k extra a month after bills, own retirement, food, shelter, car, etc. is way more than most Americans.

5% pull back on the SPY is 660-ish (I think we're headed there)
10% pull back is 625-ish but there's a beauty of a buy in the futures market that could pull it to 615.
There's reason to believe that we could visit 600 and if it does I'd be all back in long.

are you shorting SPY or just waiting to buy at the 'bottom'?
Nah not shorting on a daily/weekly time frame. I’ll short intraday sure. But the investment account stays long. It’s all cash at the moment. Has been for some time.

I have limit orders sitting where I said above to get in on some pull backs. Unless there’s a breakout to the upside (meaning all time high break and follow through on the next day) there’s nothing to buy on the upside.

SPY is working on a buyer trap today from Fridays close. We get below 676 ish today and the 5% pull back buy at 660 should be within reach. Maybe even today. There's still some time if they get back from lunch and choose violence.
