Thinking of useing a stock rear chevy spring on my yota. Was woundriing waht it will do .It is off of a 84 chevy 4x4 ,will it give any lift,be way too stiff or just a cheap way to get a little more .Thanks for the information
It is a 89.It has an short chevy add-a-leaf in the rear right now, that done about 3.5.Looking to take them out and replace them with the chevy spring and end up with about the same lift. And not so stiff.
I think everyone uses springs from a 2wd 91-2000 chevy truck. Not sure on the years but the 4x4 springs seem to be too stiff. I also think it'll give you more than 3.5 inches of lift. Not sure on that either. Someone here chime in and correct me.
