A good friend of mine has had his dump trailer stolen.

Stolen out of Mocksville Sunday night.

Description: ''Willards'' logos w/ pics of Skid steer, dump truck and loader(in logo)

Black, tandem, black wheels, led lights, reflective tape around bottom, pintle hitch, 8ft wide x 12 ft wide, 2ft metal sides, new tarp on front, 4 Brand new tires, electric dump.

Stolen by a white Lincoln Navigator, with a john deer tag on front. Black stripe on bottom and tinted windows.

This trailer was full of stainless steel and is believed to still be in Clemmons/Lewisville area.

All the scrap yards have been notified, so we believe the trailer is being ''laid low'' at the moment.

There is video of the crime and the vehicle. My buddy located the vehicle at a farmington trailer park, and witnessed 2 mexican men leaving in the Navigator, but lost him at a light on Jonestown rd. The trailer was nowhere around the trailer park and was not being towed at the time he was following the Navigator.

Any help would be great.

My buddy was told by police that the video cant identify the driver of the Navigator when the trailer was stolen, then they could not do anything. They didnt even bother to drive out to the location to interview anyone at the home where my buddy found the Navigator that was on the video.

Thats some awesome police work. You can lay everything they need to go after him in their lap and they still say it's not enough. I guess you did get the tag number off the nav.? Good luck, could always try a different department or plainly another cop. Good luck

Yep, got the tag number and know where they live.(Staked out after a random tip from the gas station attendant on farmington rd.) Already snuck up and snapped a few pics of the Navigator, the mud on it, the muddy side steps and foot prints, and the ever so incriminating..get this PINTLE HOOK in the rear bumper.

Sometime in the early am, while my friend was drifting in and out of sleep,on the stake out...the two mexican men drove the Navigator into the gas station parking lot for gas...he woke up at about the same time as they were leaving the pumps. He followed them and even talked to the police during the time he was following them...to no avail. He was only warned that if he did indeed follow through with his threat to get a confession or a dying breath at gun point..then he would be arrested.lol

He was stuck at a light and they disapeared. They didnt know he was following them.
Now, after seeing the vehicle for a second time..the pintle hook is no longer on the truck and the mud is gone too.

The video of the crime showed the navigator show up at 10 30 pm and circle the lot, pausing at the trailer a minute..then it left and come back 42 mins later and stole the trailer. Our guess is, they went and stole themselves a pintle hook.
