I don't know if yall ever get on chucks trucks but a buddy of mine that used to do all my hydraulic work up here moved down to florida and one of their trucks got stolen, and its no NC truck, its a full blown Florida Mega Truck, 406 small block, big v treads on custom wheels, 5 tons, scs drop box, linked underneath, etc, etc.

Anyway they've had reports of it seen being trailered north, and I won't go into to much detail since the cops are investigating but they got a recent bit of info that points to a region up here in NC.

Knowing that I do with all my 4x4cross stuff up this way, and know a bunch of folks my buddy gave me a shout to see if I could put some feelers/eyes out for him. This wasn't a high dollar "build it for me" rig, this was just like most guys building it over time with what they could beg barter and trade for like the rest of us, lot of blood sweat and tears in the rig.

I seriously doubt anyone would be stupid enough to try and drive it around, its too easily recognizable, but if you hear anything about used parts like that being sold around or anything let me know, I'd def appreciate it.

Parts to look for:
-14 inch coilovers - Big Shocks Brand.
-Rims and tires- 16.9X34s with custom 8 hole rims from Opie
-SCS t case 3 to 1 ratio. Fairly new and in great shape.
-406 SBC, Block has 3 studs welded in where the bellhousing bolts up to.
-TH400, Manual VB with jw ultra bell
-5 ton axles with all the brackets, hats and tabs for four link.
-Adamsoffroads pinion brake
-Carbon fiber, pistol grip B&M shifter

Here's a link to the thread on chucks trucks with pics of the truck and some info, that is the truck in the pic, white 88 chevy:

thats what i was thinking, lol.

This truck is actually on the mid to small size for most trucks in Florida in all seriousness, so its not to uncommon to see trucks like that bein hauled down the rd

Funny thing is dudes, dead serious, haul full blown monster trucks with the the tires on down the road on a consistent basis down there and cops could care less about the massive over width violation

any words on the truck being found yet?

thats a sick looking truck though! my buddy up north has one like that but with a 38 ford cab on it.
