The Greensboro Police Department has located an overland style trailer that they believe to be stolen. I’m a detective with Forsyth and because I’m a member here I decided to reach out to the community to see if anyone was aware of any local ish stolen overland trailers?

Its a white body with a black top, fenders, tongue box, and a red jerry can. No make/model available. I realize this is vague but it has to be so the potential owner can make a positive identification and confirm ownership.

So basically, let me know if you’ve seen or heard of any stolen trailer posts or anything like that.

Thanks!

Respond here and/or email shaffejr@fcso.us. Prefer email as I’m not always on here.

I am a member on the expedition portal and it might belong to someone over there too, if you aren't a member I could post this info over there if you'd like...just let me know.

Considering that the OP works for the Forsyth sheriffs office (fcso email addy), just maybe they found a (suspected) stolen item, and are trying to find the real owner???

That makes sense.

Sorry, I have to be somewhat vague so that someone can’t just use the description I provided to say it’s their trailer.

Yes, I’m a detective with Forsyth. A GPD guy sent it to me so I posted it.

I’ll post it on expo. Thanks for the idea!
