they wont bec they still married and they say it marital property

Moved to chit chat because I dont see any tech.

How can we help? What are your expectations?

Which is bs bec u got to wait a year for it

I was trying to get word out to find the jeep

Yes police did stolen car report

Isn't this the same tj you has for sale for a long time?

Mind blown. That thread was last topped LAST October.

Whose name is it in?
this is the key question. Is it his or hers?
Yes police did stolen car report
this is what I don't get. But the only way I can figure they would do that is if her name was on the title.
But if her name is on the title, he can't sell it.

Yes police did stolen car report
If a stolen vehicle report was done then the VIN and tag info would be entered into NCIC and that means the vehicle can be recovered by any LEO. But you say the police wont go and get it so that sounds like to me a stolen vehicle report was not made. Maybe a miscellaneous incident report just to document the incident since it is maritial property.

I filed a Breaking& Entering, Stolen Car with Stolen Dealer plate on it, about 23 years ago, from my former home in Charlotte. Told CMPD, Who did it, best guess it was headed to Wilmington, to his parents home, & even called Highway Patrol, with the information. IF "I", Had gone after it, "I" would have found it!!! It's a Long story, but Any & All Law enforcement, including the DA, FAILED ME 100%!!! My Blood Still Boils, when I think about it!:kaioken: And it Was driven to his Parents house in Wilmington, & then driven until it ran out of gas!:shaking:

going to agree...doubt and actual stolen vehicle report was filed but...

if the jeep is only in your friends name she can file the misdemeanor charge of Unaurthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle given law enforcement to arrest the husband and then she could pick the jeep up where ever it gets towed to...now the charge will probibly be dropped in court because of the maritial property doctrine...just saying

he wont tell anyone where he has it

Piece of advice, from an internet stranger.

When a couple splits up stay out of the middle of it. Believe nothing either tells you for a while.

You seem mighty concerned for this friend's jeep makes one wonder...
