I ask her if she liked making the amount of money that she brings home and she said "yes" I then asked her if she thought it was fair that she have her taxes raised because she went to school for X amount of years and be punished for being successful and creating jobs because she fell into a higher tax bracket according to Obama.
You might be interested in a recent report by The Congressional Research Service, a nonpartisan arm of the Library of Congress. They found no correlation between the top tax rates and economic growth. This doesn't necessarily prove or disprove that taxes effect "job creators", but it is interesting.
I also find it interesting that Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates are all asking for, or OK with, higher taxes. All billionaire that have also signed The Giving Pledge which means they will donate the majority of their fortunes.
