Stormtrooper Buggy

Thanks guys, plan is to get the motor in this week. Thanks to OL JEEPS, the interior sheet metal us all completed. Now it's more of final fab work.

@mcutler I may have to sell a kidney or lung....heck maybe my 1st born to get this finished! I dropped a few grand this weekend already. :shaking:

Are you making "uh-n uh-n" sounds while you're sitting in it?!:driver:

Well I will be setting the motor this weekend.

* Pedals are mounted.
* Steering is in, I am making the links for the. steering today.
* Everything this all welded and ready to go. minus the engine and trans mount and door. bars.

Waiting on the Artec fuel cell mount so I can get it finally. The shifter and interior will be the nest thing. I hope by Saturday evening to have the motor, and the interior completed.

It's starting to kinda like a buggy

Well it was a long night, but got a few things done.

Motor is in place, I am waiting in my headers to come in before a finish welding the motor mounts in place.

I bought a set of coilovers off of Buckeye Performance. I got them mounted. Looks like I will run these for now. This will be ride height. 20-21" belly. 5" up travel in the from and 7" in the rear.

Well progress has been slow going. Stupid thing called a real job has been getting in the way. Although parts have been slowly rolling in.

Tomorrow 12/12 will be a work day. Looking to install my shifters and fuel cell and get this buggy ready to move.

I got my wiring harness back this week as well. I have to say a HUGE thank you to Michael Houston. The harness look sleek and neat... I getting excited.

I was able to get a few hours in the garage today.

* I got the motor and tranny in.
* I order headers, throttle pedal and cable, and a new water pump.

Tomorrow the plan is to get the engine cage welded in and set for good. Also to add bracing to the fuel cell mount and start the radiator mounts.

The buggy did get to see some sunshine today, it was good to see it roll out of the garage!!!
