strange idle help!!

ok I have a 89 toyota with the 3.0 v6 and it runs fine my thing is holding the throttle steady at around 15 to 17 hundred rpm it jumps
and it only does it around those rpms.... it idles down the back up
my first guess is tp sensor or something of that nature can anyone help me out
 
It's just the trucks way of asking you to swap out the 3.0......lol. Chase at ECGS is pretty good with those......give him a call.

well it was on the cheap just had that motor put in about a month ago but I understand if I could of went a different route I would have ill give him a call thanks
