I decided to take advantage of the nice weather yesterday and head for Tuckertown for some Crappie fishin'. My son went with me this time. We got there around 8:30 am, and were real surprised to find only a few others out on such a nice morning. We only caught two small Crappies (9") all day, but during that time this critter sneaked in on me. After speaking with a few other fishermen it seemed the general opinion was that the Crappies had simply not started feeding yet. We stayed until after 2 pm before giving it up. There were many others who were going to wait it out, and others were still coming in. Don't know what we missed out on, if anything, but had a nice day regardless. :)

Water temp was 49 on Tuckertown. One fellow I talked to said they were hitting later each day as the water temp declined. I really don't know one way or the other. Anyway, it was a good day spent on the lake with my son. :)

Can we take up a collection, & get Don a Razor?:D

You will have to take that up with Darlene. I asked her in October if I should let it grow this year and I got a very clear YES! Seeing as how I am now considered an old fart I have gained the wisdom to respect answers to questions of that nature. :driver:
