ok, i have my 4.0 and 258 tore apart. what parts out of the 258 do i put in the 4.0. i am wanting to rebuild using the as many parts out of 258 as i can.

258 crank and connecting rods, 4.0 pistons. You may also need to use the harmonic balancer from the 258.

just so i know what your talking about. are the connecting rods the rods that connect to the crankshaft and piston head??
