So I'm in the market for some new stunners. I'm looking at some classic styles and I'm down to the lens color. Either one will be polarized but I'm down to either gray or green. Anyone here have any pros and cons for either?

I thought this tread was going to be about something different :(

I had gotten a chrome aqua color pair of ray bans a few years back for xmas and I always got compliments on them at first, I wasn't crazy for the color, but they grew on me. i lost them last year in the summer but plan on finding and identical pair

I thought stunners were non functional glasses for looks only. If so why does lensā€™s color matter

I know a Lil sumpin about Jokely's and Gaybans.

Merican WAPtical? Fill me in....
Supposedly it's the hot lick. The Mrs and I are fans of Wes Anderson and one of our favorite movies of his is The Life Aquatic. In the movie Bill Murray wears a pair. I tried to get the exact ones but they either don't make them anymore or were one-offs for the movie. Anyway, I did some research and the company has been making glasses for the military and astronauts for years. I figure if they're good enough for Neil Armstrong, they're good enough for me too.

So after purchasing three pairs, and returning two of them, a decision was made.

That's a tag off of one my shirts but it looked close enough to a flat doob so I went with it.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but if you are going purely on looks alone, they look identical so some off the $5.99 sunglass cart at the Myrtle Beach Outlet. I'm sure they are much higher quality, but still........

You can't bust this shit. They are much higher quality and that's what I was after. Last year I rocked a pair of $3.99 Walmart specials. I usually used them for fishing.

They have those in amber lenses??? Not sure why, but I tend to prefer that style and amber lenses. The cheapies tend to be too small for my head, and I kinda always wanted a 'good' pair.

They used to but they're not currently available according to their website. If you decide to take a look at them and think they may be small I would suggest the 57mm ones. I got a pair to try and they were bigger than I wanted so I stuck with the 55mm.

The gray vs green was interesting. I chose green but they don't look green. They are darker than the gray ones and I liked that.
