Stupid muffler

I recently replaced my old busted muffler on my 84 Toyota, truck is now much quieter. Now I can hear all the racket from my valvetrain/timing chain on the 82 motor, that obviously needs some attention!!

Turn the radio up.

Obviously the muffler repair caused the valvetrain/timing chain noise. Removing the muffler and it should fix itself.

Just cut the muffler off and throw on some loud ass mud tires on it, problem solved.

I use this truck to hunt w and like to keep it quiet so not to attract attention of deer or other hunters when going through the woods. Have'nt had a stereo since it quit years ago while I had 33 15.5 15 Swamper SXs on it. I liked to hear them hum and roar down the road anyway!!! Reminded me of a turboprop airplane taking off!!!
