Why don't these Damn engineers make the tv remote out of rubber? The batteries go flying out and the back is now missing from hitting the floor for the millionth time. Stupid.

i feel your pain man.
the direct tv remote is rounded on the bottom.
set it on the arm of the chair and it falls off
every time you move. and like you the housing is broken
from hitting the floor a thousand times.
