Summer top options for CJ with genright cage

Glued together the genright cage in my CJ7 this winter. Fits under the hardtop great, but now it's spring and I used to just run a bestop bikini top thing. That's not going to work anymore so what do yall run for shade and marginal rain protection after you've gone to a custom cage?

I hook the bikini top to a windshield channel and pull it as tight as possible to the rear. I cut little slits along the sides and zip tied it to the side bars to keep it from flapping. Not a great pic but you can kinda see how I secured it.

If you’ve got a cj5 you should get the yj family roll bar bikini and it’ll be longer to allow more custom tie down options

Good ideas. My current too is fitted for the factory roll bar, but I thought about the family yj top with straps. Looks like that's what I'll do.

Obviously, my junk is a wee bit longer than a CJ, but used a CJ7 bikini for a few seasons, then horse traded for a YJ "strapless"... total BS, as it does use "straps", just not the usual off the back

Thanks to the the JK fanboi's, there are 1000s of options for shade... bought a cheap Amazon-grade "shade" before Moab in 2017 (think it's for a 4 door?) that fits perfect in the front half of the cage. Thinking about picking up another for the back half...
