You workin on autocad?

Yeah, the laptop on the left.

Yeah, they're Interface "Flor". It's similar to commercial carpet tile, but Flor is their residential line. I think ours is a mix of Toy Poodle and Take a Ribbing. Toy Poodle is a short loop, Take a Ribbing is a short cut pile with a faint ribbed texture. The loop holds dirt worse than the cut pile, but the whole thing gets shampooed about twice a year with hot water and vinegar. Comes clean every time. All sorts of things have gotten spilled on ours, and you can just pick the tiles up and rinse them off in the shower or with the garden hose. Worst case, you can swap a stained tile with one that's under the sofa.

Ours is laid as a rug, using Interface's dots on the back sides to hold the tiles together. If it's laid wall to wall, you can use the dots or a liquid adhesive on the subfloor. The dots work reasonably well -- ours has been down for about three or four years, and there are a few seams that have pulled apart, but only barely. We put a thin carpet pad (~3/16") under the whole thing.

They've got a tool on the website where you can play with patterns and stuff. Once you've got something close, you can order samples (4x4" square-ish) and check it out in the room before you order anything.

Dang Shawn, you look nothing like your avitar.....

Yeah, they're Interface "Flor"....

Cool, I think that's what we're going to do for our basement rooms. Seems DIY cost is still < "real" carpet installed, w/ the bonus of being able to easily remove/replace in case of the inevitable basement flooding or water heater disaster, plus easy replacement for those of us w/ kids & pets that tend to trash floors.

LMAO, I can't believe he posted this awful photo of me... speaking of workin' on a Sunday!

...and that's my finger! and it's shadow!

A few minutes later the video begn playing and he began "doin' work"
