Wonder if any members, Local to Mt.Holly, are running Corbeaus, or Mastercrafts, in their stock CJ? Preferably, a 7. I'm trying to choose What to buy. I bought Corbeau Baja Ultra, in the wide, but will have to exchange them. NO Way, will they fit. Looking for JPs, & any other models. Thanks

I've got JPs in my Scout II, and they bolt right to the sliders in a Scout or CJ, I have a buddy with one in the drivers position of a CJ5. Any of the other Corbeaus will require one of there adapters to bolt in. I have 3 Baja Ultras and one Baja SS in my Waggy (Drivers seat, but I'm a skinny guy...) I have another buddy with the Baja SS in a CJ5, but the bolsters are so high it makes getting in and out more difficult. The Baja SS is a tight and comfortable fit for me with a 32" waist, I think anything more than a 36" waist and you'd feel pretty squished.

Sorry I'm a bit far from you, or you could come sit in them all to see how they feel....

I did get to see 2 different sets of Corbeau seats that bolt into CJs, today. Now if only I could get some opinions on Corbeau vs. Mastercraft. I know that Master cost more, but they have a little more choice of colors, which would suit me better.
Are they the same Quality, & comfort? Has anyone had seat time in Both Brands?

One thing about the more expensive seats is that as they wear out you can buy new foam or new fabric for them and replace them. The corbeaus are cheaper and from what I've seen and looked at you cannot get replacement foam or fabric for them so when they rip wear out or whatever you have to get a new seat. If you have kids and want a good seat for them in the back I have 2 prp pre teen seats in the for sale section.

I've got some mastercraft baja rs that will be going in my jk in the next couple of weeks.

You're welcome to check them out and sit in them. I'm in Troutman.
