Question on Leaf Spring Suspension Up travel.

Built the CJ SOA Outboarded the front springs for a wider axle, and my Hydro Assist ram is mounted to the Driver Spring Plate.

Right now I have about 3" of Up travel until my bumpstops hit. that doesn't seem like a whole lot. Yet I want to bring the CJ down. I have a bit more lift than I was wanting.

thoughts on uptravel? either from Flex or from bouncing the front end?

Rockcrawling people usually go with 70-80% downtravel. So if you have 10" of travel in your springs, that sounds right. Some people ride right on the bumpstops.

When i first swapped in YJ springs, i used the stock ones and i bottomed out way to easy. I have since got the RE SOA springs and they have reversed eyes so you have ore arch for springup travel but you do not have a huge lift from the springs. Given it is a bit tall for me and i am thinkngi bout going spring under with them, but it helped out tremendously.
