I like the show but what's up w the naration? The narrator decribes a battle w a 7'er "the 650lb monster...... " and then after shooting it one guy picks the entire gator up by a front and rear leg (probly 150/200 lbs) and tosses it in the boat. I saw another gator called " the 850 lb monster gator....." and it looked like it might have been 300/400lbs. Why the BS? Maybe the Florida "Gatorboys" show is outshining Swamp people? I guess the History Channel is more about entertainment and not so much about accurate depictions of history or real life.

No, I'm aware, more often than not the scenes on most shows are obviously scripted and rehearsed. Like the Mooshiners, and new Appalacian Outlaws "Sangers" show. On the Swamp People show they are catching/killing/tagging real gators and I believe they weigh them when they're sold, so producers should know how much each one weighed, why grossly exagerate their weight?
