jack the rear tires up
mark a line on the rear driveshaft
mark a line on the balancer
put shifter in 1st gear
turn the crank with a ratchet counting how many times the crank turns to 1 turn on the driveshaft.
if what you are hoping is true the crank will make 6.32 turns per 1 turn on the driveshaft.

In your pics, the right most gear is the back of the input shaft. The 6.32's have 17 teeth. The 4.00:1's have 23.

With the shift collars and reverse lever in the neutral position (or the T-case in neatral), you can press the clutch pedal and rotate the gear set to count the teeth.

cool thanks guys....so I count the teeth on the small gear on the far right of the picture?

Yes, the far right smaller gear. For what it's worth, it appears to be the 17 tooth 6.32:1 input. From your pics, I can see about 8 teeth.
