Where do most of you all get your tabs at? I need some for my seats and seatbelts, and just wanted to find something local, so I didnt have to wait forever.

if i'm in a hurry i make mine from a 1 - 1.5" wide 3/16" thick piece of flat bar.... you can use a tubing notcher with a 2+ inch hole saw bit at a steep angle to get the U shape on the end.... after a minute or so of grinding it can look real nice but keep in mind it will never be CNC clean.....

you coudl do the same with a mill or drill press. you could probably do it witha hand drill if you had a long pilot bit and patience.

if i can remember to plan ahead i always call dan @ ruff stuff.....

I should have what you are looking for. Check my post in the vendor's section.

Everything is laser cut from 1/4" thick steel.

I have access to a plasma (thanks bottomland4x4), but I friggin hate grinding. Ill have to check around here to see if I can find someone local with a laser cutter. Rockcity, can you make them out of 1/8"?

yes, but I'd rather get rid of the 1/4" stuff before I start making more parts. the 1/4" stuff I already have cut is much cheaper than getting me to make some 1/8" ones

Any racing fab shop ...or any automotive fab shop... should have them.
When in a hurry I go to Hank Thomas Motorsports in Winston Salem.

I got all my brackets for the last build from Ruff Stuff. They're a sponsor here.
