About to start a project for a friend of mine. 95 Tacoma with 3400 v6 and auto trans. It is an extended cab.

Plans are for hp60 front 14bolt rear, 40s, beadlocks, and leafs front and rear. Anyone know of any good write ups on doing full widths under a taco?

Ive looked at the fror front xmember kit. Prolly go that route unless someone has better ideas?

Pretty much i need schoooling on yota tech. What do i need to do for mcylinder? Springs? Steering? Tcase upgrades?

nobody??? i know theres a bunch of yota guys here.

Springs - trial and error, make a hybrid RUF pack so that it pushes the front axle forward a bit more. Should help clear the firewall with less work from the BFH and help keep it from being a skyscraper.

Check out the MachoTaco buildup on Pirate. He's got a leaf sprung Tacoma on tons. Probably one of the cleaner jobs done too.

MC - shouldn't really be an issue. You will more than likely need to make new brake lines anyway so you can figure out the fittings needed when the time comes.

Steering - IFS steering box, might as well get it drilled for Hydro assist and do that stuff while your doing the buildup. A little more $$$ but will make turning those 40's easier. X-over steering, you will need to measure for your TR/DL once the axles is hung under the truck. Probably use Heims as youre TRE's.

The Tcase in that truck is chain driven so it cant be regeared but IIRC Inchworm now makes a doubler for the auto trucks. Its been a while since I've messed with the later model Tacomas and 4Runners so I hope this helps some.
