Ive got a 2000 toyota tacoma with the 3.4. ever since i first got it ive wanted to sas it. one of my buddys has a danna 44 dsd out of a wrangler. its been built and would be a great axle. he also has the danna 30 out of it (stock axle). Could i use the 30 to mock up the sas? Or can i even use that d40?

the jeep axles are going to be more narrow than the taco, and i wouldnt recommend using the d30... Is the d44 a stock Jeep axle or is it from another vehicle and made to fit in the wrangler? If a wrangler axle, Id just find a different axle... I seriously doubt any of the bracketry on the the jeep d44 or d30 will work well on your taco.

Yea ive been havin a hard time finding a waggy and one of of my buddys has both of these axles and i was wondering if i could do anything with them. thanks guys

simple answer....NO

you should be able to find a waggy axle easily, keep looking on here or in the local yards. they are def out there.

The waggy 44 is the best stock axle to use unless you go to tons.
If you could find a HP44 and run 6 lug outers that would help your drive shaft angle out tremendously.
