It's been a rough week....a tornado hit my properties falling about 40 trees. One huge pines fell on my camper and the wind blew lots of shingles off. Plus having a water heater burst and run all through one of my houses on Friday. My son Mason sliced a huge gash in his leg this evening that probably needed stitches.
But as I sit here tonight typing this I'm counting my blessings and being thankful God is watching over me when it counts.

In may we had a group camped in shady valley tn had one go through camp that night woke up the top of the tent was flat against me that was a scary feeling. Always good to know someone’s looking out for you.
 
Watched you drop several of those pines. I got nervous for you. Too many close together and everyone of them chewed up. Glad it was just a near miss.
Keep Masons wound clean and he should have a nice scar to show off later. Not enough kids have scars to brag about like we do.

I was more nervous of that tree hitting the service line on my house. If you notice that limb actually broke out of the tree I was cutting. It wasn't just a widow Maker. Everything I cut yesterday was just 20-40 foot stumps with very few limbs so it wasn't to bad.
Mason has plenty of scars. He's just like I was. This one will go good from the four inch slice he had surgery on back in August. Anymore we are keeping betadine and wound closer strips in stock. Lol.
Y'all left before I knew it and didn't know what to push up for you. Just hollar at me and I'll use my machine to push it up.
 
Not saying you got complacent there because who would have expected that but I've been there before, after cutting so many trees starting to get lazier with the saw and not moving as far away as I should/keeping a better eye on the tree tops.
Stay safe big dog. On the up side, seems like a perfect chance to justify a dozer to do it the easy way.
 
Thanks for the offer, Monday night's vote will tell. No pickup = beer drinking bonfire inside town limits. I'll make sure if there's a next time they'll reconsider not offering debris collection.
