Tank museum Danville VA 7/11

Would love to go and see them running a few. Been there before and it was a great experience. Now that I'm a lot closer, I really need to get there more often.

However, I can't do this Saturday, got plans with the wife and I can't miss those as she knows where I sleep.
 
There's a 94.25% chance I'll be there. If anyone sees a short, fat guy with 2 little boys, say something derogatory to him. If it's me I'll smile.
 
I've been on the fence about this. If I do go it will be after noon. Old fat white person with red ball cap.

its a great experience. but it is HOT. those warehouses are not Air conditioned and very little air flow. prepare the kids. drink plenty of water. i cant remember if they let you bring water inside or not.

the only reason i say this..... its because the place is massive. and on a 91+ degree day with any kind of humidity it can start to weigh on you in there but youre gonna be too excited looking at everything to notice. just plan ahead and realize that it can happen and you'll be fine.
