Tapatalk- what are your thoughts?

So, I got a new i phone 4 (it was free at Verizon) and don't know a thing about it. Coming off of an OLD flip phone. Is tapatalk worth it for cruzing the boards? I still do all this on the computer. Do you guys like using the phone for browsing, etc? Is tapatalk worth the fee(s)?
 
Yeah its worth picking up, but keep in mind you'll probably need Forum Runner too if you browse more than just this site.

It's a lot better than using the in-phone browser to look at stuff.
 
I don't have it but all I use is my phone for the internet haven't opened the laptop in forever
 
i use it on my galaxy 2 tablet. seems to work well....
 
I've got Forum Runner on my iPhone4, works, but unless you keep track of every thread you post in, it will not tell you which you have current responses too, just which you are watching ( says I have 4 unread threads, I haven't been able to clear it )

I use Safari mostly in landscape mode, just easier
 
seems kinda mixed. thanks for the replies all. I was ready to throw this stupid phone across the room earlier today. it was deleting everything i was typing as fast as i could type it.

I've had mine for a while and still hit delete often when typing.

Not sure if the Iphone has it, but my phone has a text entry system called Swype. A little learning curve to get used to it, but once you do, it is awesome.
 
The iPhone keyboards suck. That's your problem. Take it back and get a Nexus or something.

Tapatalk has push notifications, too. So it'll tell you in the notifications pane when you've got a PM, a reply to a subscribed thread, when somebody says @Macdaddy4738 etc.
