Tapatalk

um? I'm pretty sure it is set up... ? Have you been on with tapatalk since the new software went live? If not, remove your old shortcut, search again, add and log back in.
 
There isn't even a tab for PM anymore.

Also, my "participated" tab doesn't work anymore. It keeps saying "0 participated threads" :confused:

Just FYI... Forum Runner has push notifications for PMs and subscribed threads.
 
So no help for this program? I hate having a pm and cant answer it... But just have to long on under the browser to do so... How much is runner app?

Tapatalk for iDevices has been updated twice in the past month and works PERFECTLY on mine, so try pulling down the latest version.

If that doesn't work for either version, go to Tapatalks site and follow the instructions on resetting it (IIRC, remove NC4x4 & re-add it)
 
On my iPhone I still get PMs, they're just called "conversations" now. I think it's the same on the web version too.

On Tapatalk go to the "More" tab, then go to the "convos" tab. That's where your PMs are. Instead of just a single message back and forth it's basically like a private thread with the other person.

Edit: I did get an update for Tapatalk right after the board was updated. If you haven't updated the app that could be the problem.

Tapatalk is a huge pain in my ass. There is nothing I can do to help you troubleshoot Tapatalk or Forum Runner. I install a couple files on the NC4x4 server so that Tapatalk can fetch information directly out of our database. After that, it's all running on your phone. Tapatalk emails me if they need me to update our files, and they tell me if they can't connect for some reason. That's it.

sweet! yea its no big deal to me... and thats nice of them to have no support.....
 
Best (and probably only) advice I can give you is that if you're having problems, make sure your phone is running the latest version of Tapatalk. If it can't connect, or is acting strangely, try removing the NC4x4 link and searching for it again in the Tapatalk directory.

Also, it sounds like some things have moved around lately, either because of our move to a different forum software or because of updates to Tapatalk. So if you're having trouble, ask here. Somebody else with the app can probably talk you through it.

I can't, because I don't own the app, because it won't run on my Motorola DynaTAC. :rolleyes:
