If you got the email from Target stating your info may have been compromised, are you going to sign up for their free credit monitoring?
By the way, I was skeptical of the email at first, but I verified on their website that it was legitimate.

How did Target get your email address?

I got the email too, because the wife has a Target credit card, we pay the account online. I haven't read it closely to figure out if we'll sign up, probably not.

I got the email also. I guess they had our info from registering there when our son was born. I haven't decided if I'm going to do anything either.

There are massive phishing schemes...make sure thats not what you are a victim of.

We didnt have to worry about it, (dont use CC/Debit cards at retail stores) but our bank (local credit union) decided to replace everyone's debit cards for free.

Yeah...I know. Use it for gas and such on the work expense account. But I dont trust the interwebs by nature and wont pay bills online very much I still like to mail paper checks...late once because i forget and I wipe out 5 years of savings in 1 interest payment...just pay in cash and all is well
