SO ever since I put the 350 TBI in my J10 (10 years ago) it has alway run a lot hotter than I would like it to be. In the last year it has gotten worse. What has been happening lately is the faster I go the hotter is gets. When I and go Wheeling I have to stop and let it cool down.

I though this was due to the very substandard Radiator in the Full size jeeps. and I had plans to put a Aluminum one in it to solve this issue.

So today I was just looking over the motor before next weekends Full size Jeep event at URE, and I noticed the PVC vacuum hose boot was cracked. So I when down to advanced auto and got a new one. I figured that this vacuum leak fix might improve my MPG.

I put the new hose on and on looking at my temp Guage it is running at 185-200 instead of 210-230 or higher

Interesting, How does positive crancase ventalition affect the cooling of the engine??

am I missing something?

maybe more air into engine making it too lean and causing it too run hot.

that is all I did and the issue went away...... very wierd:confused:
