he says its too cold to drive his jeep. lol.
figured this would scholl him.lol

I feel the survey is "biased" due to the fact I drove my Sammi w bikini top and heater, before it became a dedicated trail rig (too beat up to go 60mph comfortably) I guess its a jeep thing

Not a Jeep...but a couple years back I was hauling some stuff in the Bronco, smashed out a side window, a couple weeks later I busted the rear window when pulling it out. So I just took the top off. It was about a month during the winter before I got replacement glass and put the top back on.

drove my cj with no top or heat to work for a week in the snow. . . and road to the mtns topless/doorless/heat less in basketball shorts and a sweat shirt to take pictures to win a contest on jeep fourms. I was so cold, I bout couldnt shift gears coming back down 40. And yeah, its a jeep thing!

I've had my share of cold weather driving, including a trailer malfunction that made me have to drive my old CJ from Richmond to Raleigh with no top or doors in about 20 degree weather at night, all highway with no heat

When I was stationed in Norfolk, VA, the only transportation I had was a motorcycle (with no windshield). I drove it from there to Lexington NC and back every two weeks for 2 years. Rain, shine, warm or cold... didn't matter. The two worst times was once in 24 degree weather, and a second time in 38 degree weather while raining. I did learn that there is no difference in the wind chill factor between 65 mph and 100 mph. You just get there faster doing 100.

Maybe not a Jeep... but just as cold.

The survey proves nothing Woodro, I have NO heat, NO doors/windows, NO top, and the windshield has to be down to drive it. Hell with face in the wind at 7a.m.. During the day isn't much different, but hell if i'm driving it to school 45 minutes away at 7, walkin in with frozen snot on my beard! :poop:

Dad tells a story about huntin in Colorado. A snowstorm came in and he and 2 friends were turning around to leave when the 50s Chevy 4 door rolled a few times down the mountain after the shoulder collapsed. It landed on it's wheels and they made it back to the road. They drove it back to Kansas w the roof crushed and all the glass gone, in a snowstorm taking turns at the wheel and freezin. They don't make cars like that anymore :shaking:
