I sold my long time XJ build and bought this back in the summer or 2012. I am just going to mildly build it for now. Later on we will see what happens.
This is how it sits now. Its got a RC 4.5" short arm lift, 6cyl, auto.
It had 35's on it, but I swapped out to 33 inch Mickey Thompsom MTZ's.
I installed H4 headlight conversion with smoked marker lights.
Had the Alum wheels powder coated. My buddy did these. He has a nice setup.
Installed some used ARB Rock rails. Also had my buddy powder coat them.
Future plans
Install ford 8.8 rear. Have rear
Install HP 30. Need front with 3.73 gear
Install Belly up pan. Have the pan, Just need all the other goodies, sye, shaft, tcase cable shift.ect
Do the 5.25" front speaker mod. Done
Install 6.5" speakers in the soundbar. Done
Install a 6.5" Bazooka powerd sub in rear. Done, one clip takes it out, and sounds good.
The main thing is to use the jeep to design front and rear bumpers and sliders.
I have two front and two rear bumpers designed and am in the prototype stages
The sliders, I have designed but may be awhile before I get them quoted and mocked up.

Bumper builds.
I have allways wanted to design a few differant styles of bumpers for a TJ and possibly do some small production runs on them. I have designs for two front ,two rear bumpers, and some rock sliders modeled up in Autocad. I have a couple companies quoting the laser burn and form work. They have all been crazy busy so until I can get the fromed prorotypes I took a front and rear bumper drawing apart and had them burn out each section. Its going to be a lot of welding and grinding, but I will get an idea of how they will look.
Here is the Front bumper being fabbed up.
Again, the procution ones will be formed up and have minimal welds. I still like the D ring mounts and possible hoop on this one. Its tacked up in the pics. I have it welded and almost all of the grinding completed now.

Rear bumper.
I designed this one two have two purposes. It is notched in the center. So if you have a bigger spare tire it will clear.
For me, I am not going to run a spare, and I am going to run flush mount led tail lights. I don't want the tag hanging off of the side either. So I incorporated a tag mount in the bumper. I will use led tag bolts to light it up at night " to be legal".
This one needs grinding and the D ring mounts added also.

Front bumper ready for hoop.
The other design will be a stubby bumper also, but won't have the winch mount and will allow for the plastic sway bar cover to remain.

rear bumper ready for paint.
The other design will be straight across with no "notch" in the center.

Front bumper completed with a hoop I had Jeff Horton bend up for me. He has a nice bender and schooled me on welding with his big ole welder.
I am going to offer the bumpers with or with out the hoop and D ring mounts.

Rear bumper completed. I am going to offer these with or without the "dip" in the center. I also did a flush mount led conversion. Also mounted the tag with led bolts that will light up the tag and also have red led's in the end for signal and brake. Will post pics ofthe lights on after I get the led reverse lights mounted.
My buddy Jerrod powder coated the bumpers, sliders and alum wheels.

5.25" speaker mod
The jeep had the 4x6" speakers and plates in it. But I wanted more. I purchased the 5.25" plates off of ebay. I had 5.25" kicker speakers in the soundbar. So it was a good excuse to use them and put 6.5" kickers in the soundbar.
I also found a set of foam speaker baffles online. These help the sound of the speakers out alot. If you do this, you have to get the foam ones because it is a tight fit.
The only thing I had to do to get it all to work is cut a small strip of metal out on the speaker mount frame. Takes a few minutes with tin snips.

Got my LED reverse lights in. They are only about 1" diameter but put out a lot of light.

Finally got my actual prototypes in. I have them laser cut and press brake formed. I will do the finish welding and prep for paint.
I will post pics as I get them finished.
This front bumper is designed to fit a Currie Anti Rock sway bar. It also allows the winch and fairlead to be pushed back almost two inches, by removing the original sway bar. I still have to add the hoop.
