Block. Tell me about your snatch block. What brand? rating? Where did you get it from? How you decided to get the one you did.

All of yalls dirty minds clicked on this thinking some crazy thoughts. I just need some recovery info.

I have a 20,000 pound snatch block. It was in the bargain bin at tractor supply. Used it once at big creek to recover my buds cj.

For Years, I had 2 generic snatch blocks. Too long to recall where I found them at. The open hooks, were the weak link, & also cumber-sum to take the hook Off & ON, to fit the cable through.
Eventually, I replaced the bending hooks with some modification, & Clevis. Their as strong as any brand. But about 2 years ago, I bought the Smittybuilt snatch block, from 4-Wheel Parts. I carry all 3, you never know when you need more than 1. But I grab the Smitty, which looks just like the Warn, due to it's Ease of use, & what Most others are used to. It's made in China, but rated up to 17,600 #s, depending on cable size. Doubt you'll beat it for price & decent quality.

Thanks guys, also wondering what size and rating the tree saver strap you use is rated at.

Not that worried about name brand, was looking at tractor supply. Winch I have is 9500 and want to be safe when using a snatch block. Been wheeling a while but this is my first winch. And none of my friends have ever really had them.

Thanks but I don't think a 6hr round trip is worth saving $9.99
Look at tsc next time your there for the winch accessory kit they're on clearence at my store for around 20 bucks.

Thanks wasn't trying to be a dick. The one near here has the atv ones on clearance. But that snatch block is only rated at 10,000
