Looks like a great time. Someone go ahead and start up the discussion about Dave's coilovers...how'd they do?

Well, I'll start and everybody else can say what they saw.
I have the colivers angled so that the curve the axle movement makes follows the axes of the coilover pretty well. I think this will help control any failure. I started out on the trail saturday morning with the adjusters all the way down. I started hitting bumps and they bottomed out pretty badly. I flexed the jeep out on a worthless CJ:D sorry Ricky!! and Shawn and John adjusted them up three inches or so. After that I had not problems with them bottoming out. They stretched out well and did great. I think I beat the heck out of them pretty well to see if they'd hold up. I am happy with them.

well...other than the fact that he did it Friday morning (not Saturday) and failed to give me any credit for working on it...;)

they worked quite well...or at least they weren't any problem...I'm not sure if he has more or less flex now, but he beat the snot out of 'em for two full days...

What a difference a week makes! We were there the weekend before and it was very wet, sloppy, muddy, and nasty. I was back at camp making repairs when a goup of our people went to GR and Helicopter. Many of them had to take the by pass because it was next to impossible to get the rigs turn up,.
Glad it was dryer for you all. Looks like good fun.

Nice work, looks like it was dry, well as dry as Tellico gets. Slipped and twisted my front driveshaft Saturday, still work to do before we go apparently. How did you like the cabin?

Cabin was nice...

we had the Grand Cherokee and the ATV Den...I stayed in the GC this trip, and was in the ATV Den last year...

cost us around $90/person total for the three nights...

Sorry Greg, since the wife would not hold the brake pedal so I could get out, I didn't really see who worked on it......I give you credit though, you outdid me all weekend working on rigs. I am starting to think you're enjoying it:D

It was pretty dry which has definately proven a huge difference, but will still has some muddy puddles to right where we did not need em on slick rock.

From Rick? of course there was. I was suprised that CJ only had one issue though:D , the power steering hose that drenched guardrail Thursday night.

What??? no carnage from Rick:D

Hey Rob....That Driveshaft held up nicely!! The PS line decided to show it's weakness...Only a loose fitting though! Up GR shortly after the repair!

It was a great time with a good group from Aggressive!

well...that and his new "trick"...which you missed both episodes of...

figured out if you back it up where the exhaust pipe goes in the mud, it sounds like it has cut off, so he tries to crank it again...:D :D

...but it does make some weird noises, and spit out some fluid one time...

That was pretty funny! That CJ can be a strange beast...Especially if you plug the exhaust!:flipoff2:

Nobody mentioned that the smoke coming off of Rick's jeep was not tire smoke but hydraulic fluid burning off. Rick did any of the footage of me at Slick Rock turn out?

Troy,

I don't know what happened to the video...ALOT of the Slickrock footage was simply "NOT THERE!" I guess Kristine thought she was taping but there was a long segment missing....Oh well. :shaking: We'll have to do it again and have a few cameras running!
