Me an Mike went to tellico pretty good trip. We broke muptile leafsprings in the front pass side, one good flop, broke front spring hanger driver side, cracked frame almost halfway through behind steering box, broke shock mount, and broke brake line. His homemade welder got alot of use and without we would prolly still be trying to get home. We didnt relizie it was the week for GSMTR either. More Toyotas than u could count. The new fj crusiers were there too kinda impressive what they could do. We watched 2 of them go up Slickrock. Anyway heres a few pics.

Nice pics Josh,

How did the new Fj40's do on the ledge after slickrock? Balsy taking out a 29,000 vehicle up that. Drop a line when you get new trail rig---go toyota

Holy Moly

WOW!!!! Look how bad that upper section of slickrock is getting. :p I remeber back when I first went to TELLICO you could have drove any sports car through that section. It was flat dirt. Good to see more obsticles popping up for you guys and girls to enjoy.;)

I saw your group at the bottom of SlickRock. We were the group of FJ40s in front of the white 4Runner that flopped.

Anybody see Metto out there, i haven't heard or seen him in a while which is odd and his cell phone is off. i hope he did not fall off guardrail.

We met Metto, Josh, Matt, Lee, and Steve headed towards Tellico when we were coming home on Sunday. I haven't heard from them though, there is limited range for cell phones.

the first day in was nice an dry, but after that it monsooned and hailed.
As for Insurance they gave me about as much $ as i gave for it. So i guess i came out pretty good. Just wanted to much to buy it back from them so its gone forever. But it will be replaced w/ something bigger and better.

Read an article in the new Toyota 4WD owners magazine(after my first post). Here is a sweet job. These guys are part of a group to take these to the major toyota events and wheel them as much as possible. There are 3 groups one for the west, mid states and the east. They will be out doing this for 8 months. What a sweet job indeed.
