No and no, I think everyone that went in Oct with us had some sort of body damage, and my XJ couldnt make some of the trails, and it is pretty well built. Lockers and some Armor are a MUST for Tellico.

Just my input.

Sorry about that......didnt know, I still dont think he could make it:)

I think Josh knows all about how hard the trails at Telico are seiing as how he allready lost a couple fenders there, but I do believe he made it from what I heard. Maybe he should get rid of the Rubi and try it in an XJ with some armor though.:)

I can't wait tll my jeep looks like yours Josh, maybe when I get seven payments under my belt I'll give it a little more hell.

I am the consumate smart ass. Just thought it would be funny to you also.

As for I'll try to get something ready...I trashed my GW on the last trip to Tellico in the freezing rain and it needs waaaay too much to go now. Leaking fuel tank, screwed up linkage to the trans and throttle...caused by body decay. The tire and wheel I trashed will be here on Fri of this week. I'm working on my Chief but don't think I'll be ready in Jan.

Before I met you Josh..I had a very nice jeep no dents...3 first place wins in shows..Now I would be lucky to take 10th...LOL

how hard is it to get to tellico from charlotte, me and my buddy want to come with his blazer but we dont' think my taco will pull it up there and back from lack of power. So how hilly is it getting there and back.

Pretty f....n hilly! You have to go up through a couple of passes and down of course. You will think you have crossed every mountain in NC though. Its not very hard to get there, go to Asheville and head west-south west. It takes about 3-3.5 hrs, towing, from here. So it will take you a bit longer from Charlotte. I'm 1 hr from Asheville. I have better directions if you need them.

is the hills like steep or just a bunch of little hills. I have my taco stock motor wise but i think i am about to go from stock 4.11s to 5.26s that will help out a lot.
