terraflex revolver shackels

ok need a little help. a freind of mine is starting to buy parts for his 86 cj7. he wants to do a 4in lift with these's shackles. what all would he need to modify to run them. i was also thinking of running them on the back of my xj so i need to try and find out what i need to modify. any help would be great.

I thought they just bolt in place of the stock shackles..no modifications necessary.

Remove old and install new no mods that I know of they are just replacement shackles

I ran the revolvers for several years on the trail Jeep. I cannot tell that helped in any way. I was unimpressed with them and am not planning to use them any more.

And the thought of a revolver shackle on the rear of a street driven jeep kinda scares me a little. A heavy braking maneuver could potentially get pretty interesting. Just my opinion.
