Anyone ever heard of it, had it done? Any issues scence? I came across it looking for alternitives to having septic lines replaced, basiclly they stick a probe in the ground 3-6 feet all around your tail lines and blow air and plastic pellets into the ground thus making more places for the waste water to seep into. I done some reserch and found a good bit of info on it, just wondering if anyone here has had it done. Thanx.

i pumped and installed septic systems for the last 7 years before i opended my shop (it was the family business). the terralift is a farily new idea for repairing septic systems. i havent seen very good results with it. we only did repair systems that involve adding new drain lines to a new area of unused soil. i would venture to say that the terralift may work as a short term repair ie if u are going to sell the house soon. if you plan on staying there for a number of years i would put in new drain lines.

It is good for a couple of years and then you are right back where you started at. To give you an idea of it's worth it is outlawed in the state it was invented in. I have been doing septic for abut 8 years now and never seen it work for over a year. it also cost about the same as adding drain lines.
