Anyone used the lokar automatic transmission mounted shifters on a TF-999 in a jeep. I'm looking through summit at the LOK-ATS6904BN shifter it shows to fit a TF-904. I'm wondering if the 4x4 tail housing would be enough of a difference to not allow this to fit. HELP........

I have a hurst shifter on my TF-727 and it works great. Works on a cable!

And that is relevant how?

Best bet would be to give summit a call or hop on their website and hit up the live chat.

There are 2 types. one that mounts on top of the tranny, and the other mounts at the tail. for 4wheeldrive applications i was told u need the top mount. I just got one to put on my 727 tranny thats in a jeep. Im tired of engine heat melting my B&M cable shifter. Call lokar directly and get the part # u need then search ebay. I found mine cheaper that way then using summit.
