Thanks to all who have served, past and present. If you have given your time for our country please post a quick shout. Also if you know a fallen soldier that can't answer for himself/herself, let us know. Once again, thank you.
 
Thank you for taking the time to honor the day. In the past, I myself didn't fully understand the significance of the day, after a few years and experiences, I've gained much more respect for anyone who has chosen to put on the uniform for this country, no matter what branch or military specialty, it takes ALL of us to make it happen.

The military attitude still stands for what is right with this country-the willingness to stand up and give rather than to stand with your hand out and expect.

United States Navy (1964-1968)

As an old crew member of the USS Boxer LPH-4, I post this in memory of all the boys of the 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) and Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron (HMM-265) who went across the water with us in 1965 & 1966. It sometimes haunts me wondering how many of you never got to come back home. You are not forgotten.

Iraq 2003

There were many who did not get to come home with us, I think about them almost every day. I would gladly do it again.
