Yes, that really bites, about your boot.

To clarify, a stupid animal ran off with one of dwares boots.

And guess what. One of my boots went missing from the porch as well.

If you see a stupid animal running around with 2 different boots on.....SHOOT IT !!! (and grab our boots)

The numbers are in....74 vehicles registered...Wow !!

159 meals sold... Wow!!!

Around 2400 raffle tickets sold!!!

I wonder how many didn't register... :shaking:

2400 tickets is pretty sweet.

As for the boots... I thought I saw that Huge rotweiler with a couple on the porch... he was eating them- I figured better those than me

well, the weekend before as we were clearing trails, we come across a bear, then when "she" decided to move on, we saw she had two cubs with her. I think the only thing that was missing from our weekend was a Pizza that our CTB leader's wife left out. And she was sooooo looking forward to that pizza! LOL

Hmmmmm...

So we're probably lookin for bear wearing two different boots and whose breath smells like pizza, right?

Tried to make it. last minute wrenching to finish a buddies rig went south. got him done by the monday before the event and was breaking in his new motor and drivetrain when we lost the #7 piston. Pulled the motor on friday and found somehow coolant got into the cylinder and well thats all she wrote. piston pieces everywhere. Consider our pre paid entry fees as donations. see ya next time around.
On a positive note the engine builder is going to warranty the motor and build another one.

If i am not mistaken i think we refunded entry fees for a couple of folksthat didnt make it. I will have to check, cause I have forgotten who we gave the refund to. I think you were one of them. What is the other guys name?

refund

Dylan and Tom,
yes, you refunded part, we got the T-shirts for both Tom and John, and we also got some of the raffle tickets...so i think we're even.....Tom, we didn't even come close on the raffle tickets...Dylan even put your and john's name on them...to be fair...geeze..i'd a said something if you won the tires.....:shaking:

brian

Oh yes, Brian...Sorry i forgot your name.

And sure, we know you would have said something if they would have won, lets say ...glass cleaner, but IROKS?

Anyway, thanks for coming out and supporting CTB and SOUTHERN !!

This was our 1st real 4-wheeling experience on this level with my wife's stock jeep.

Thank you for being so receptive to us even though we thought the jeep was a little "underdressed" compared to everyone else as my wife put it.

Thank you to John & Don for taking us through the trails.

We had a great time & plan on joining the club. It is great to know that there are people out there fighting to keep the trails open as we learned in the meeting on Saturday night.

From a new persons point of view I thought everyone was kind & professional & encouraged us to get more involved in this sport.

Thank you,

Rob & Donna Simonson

Yes, get involved, join a club, wheel often, have a blast!!

Thanks for the kind words about the club and event.
Glad you had a good time.

See ya soon!

BTW anyone have a clue who found it?

Rob & Donna,

We had an absolute ball watching you two. You both were grinning from ear to ear the whole time. It was our pleasure to have you join us on this ride, and we look forward to seeing you both again.
