I wheel/camp/hike in Keens (because they go better with my skinny jeans!).

I wear flip flops to the pool.

I know they do a better job than bare feet do, I can't go running across my gravel driveway with bare feet but I sure can wearing my crocs. Ability to run = greater than cringing with every step in bare feet.
