So I picked up my second TJ. It's not perfect by any means. 97' 2.5, auto. Frame has some spots. And some others that someone "tried" to fix. But fear not! Greatness awaits this will be "TJ-6" but for now it's the TURD (TJ under restoration and development). I miss my old 99 mall crawler. It was pretty and stuff, but ever since I sold it. I knew I would never get another one, without making it exactly what I want.
So in comes the TURD. Body off complete restoration and frame repair and 15" extension on a LCG build with 3.5" and 1" body. Adjustable Short arms, outboarded shocks and relocated buckets. Other goodies such as a 5.3 LS 4L60E, on board air, cruise control. ALL the comforts for the mall crawl and the balls to do some decent trail riding with the wife.
Anyways. This build will take a year I'm guessing. Working two jobs to get the cash to get all the things, leaves little afterwork "play". But I'll start a build post soon. Here it is heading straight to the shop the night I bought it. Enjoy! or ignore. All the same,I'm excited and that's all that matters
