The best Jeep

So let's say, hypothetically, I was at URE while someone was writing a story like this and my foot accidentally slipped off the clutch pedal and I slammed into the side of this most awesomist of jeeps. Would y'all still be my friends? Would that be on me and my insurance or what?

Would i still be your friend if you slipped into somebody else's most awesomeest Jeep?
Sure, why not.
well just about any time you cause damage to somebody else's property, you are legally liable for damage reparation... so assuming the owner is pssed and wants it fixed, yeah it's on you... whether your insurance will pay to cover the cost of not depends on your policy... but at the end of the day, it's still your debt either way...

I love how there are no pictures of him actually driving the 'JK350' on the trails :shaking: He seems proud of that name. Its just a very fancy, expensive JK Rubi with a bunch of bolt on parts. I wouldn't complain if someone gave one to me though.....

LMAO! Overpriced lift and tires

My 94 YJ open/open on 33's is better than a new Rubicon!*

I wonder if popular mechanics has seen/read the comments w that story???
They weren't friendly. I'm sure they had a blast doing the article and it's good press for UNF but they asked for hate with the tone with which it was written.

Well looks like all the people building buggies are gonna be looking for new employment with this kinda awesomeness being offered now:shaking::shaking::shaking:

They talk about a NC trail & show pic's of a trail & dirt roads out west. :shaking:

"Yes, $60,000 is a lot for a Wrangler. But at that price, how many vehicles can comfortably handle a 1,400-mile round trip interspersed with expert-level rock crawling?"

Well for one my 16 year old 4 runner with over 200,000 miles. And i guess i can add expert-level rock crawler to my resume.

For 60k you could have a fleet of vehicles to accomplish the same thing. Not realy a big fan of the AEV Jeeps. They do no drive train mods to support the 35s what so ever. No sleeve and gusset, upgraded ball joints, etc.

Did anyone read the comments at the bottom of the article? My favorite was something like this..."What 60k and a stock jeep can follow it? no thanks" LOL.

I vote he put this awesome jeep up Rattle rock. He'll be wishing he had bought an Aston Martin instead.

I don't have 60k in the last 5 rigs I've built. I must drive total garbage I guess

I must be at Ultra 4 level driving then because you can take a samurai running on 2 cylinders and 3 bald tires up Daniel... Just my .02 :flipoff2:

...... what you guys are forgetting is, most of the people reading this article think curb hopping is going "off-road". The Jeep JK has become more of a "look at me I've got disposable income" icon than a true Jeep. All these companies are riding the bandwagon to make as much money as possible off these idiots that are willing to pay 15k on top of the vehicle cost. Hell I'd do it too.... Sucks for people like us b/c it drives up the cost of the tires and accessories that we like to use for their purpose... not because they're "pretty".

There are also plenty of AEV badges so your friends know you didn't just bolt on a cheap lift kit from Slappy's Jack'R'Up.
Instead they can tell that you spent three times as much so you could get the same stuff with AEV badges on it!
