Well, in the morning I'll be 25. Kinda crazy how time goes by. This time last year I was just working life away at a desk job and going home. Hated that job, hated going home to an empty house and repeating it day after day.

Thursday I was promoted to Project Manager/Estimator at my job I started back in July, got a $2 raise, the day off Friday for a long weekend. Fiancé took me to Outback to fill me full of my favorite food, then tonight we had ice cream cake as a family. I call that a great birthday weekend. I like to think I'm extremely blessed.

Would like to thank all my friends on here for the advice I've gotten over the years, thanks to CTB, hope my next 25 years will be as blessed as the last year of my life.

Happy birthday dude! Not sure if I'd be more excited about the cake or the Copenhagen :D

Man every now and then stop take a deep breath and look around...

yesterday was my 21st birthday and I had an awesome party with over 100 friends...it was the day of a Clemson vs Duke football game...we had 2 kegs...which I walked in and bought as my first legal beer purchase.

Then this morning I woke up, looked in the mirror....15 years have passed... the gray hairs are reproducing rapidly and my eyes show an age my body feels but my mind doesnt understand..suddenly my son is an inch taller than me..and he has so many of my traits...my dauther is now 10...and my 21st was just yesterday...

Probably still too young to make this statement...but I just turned 28, and honestly I have no idea where the last 3 years have gone...hell the last 10 years. I know I'm doing stuff, creating memories, and climbing the ladder...but if you were to ask me what kind of an impact or difference I've made lately, I couldn't tell you. I've gotten so focused and driven on 'me'...that I'm missing out on the important stuff going on around me.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I like hearing the tips/comments/advice from the older people, keep them coming lol.

Jeff, I've been noticing more and more I can't do the things I did when I was 18 and sure don't look as good. Been trying to eat healthier and starting to work out
 
Good, remember to not only exercise your body but your mind too. It's a muscle like any other...
