bound to incite an email riot from the general population...

Here's the biggest, ugliest truth in high school sports that no one will say out loud: 90 percent of girls' basketball is bad.
The only reason most people attend girls' games is to get a good seat for the boys. Hardly anyone watches. The girls' game should be on a different day or at a different site than the boys'. Boys' attendance would improve and schools would make more money. A lot of people, truth be told, are loathe to sit through the girls just to see a great boys' game.

let the stream of hate mail begin!! femi-nazis unite!!

although...I happen to agree with him...:D

my only comment is the WNBA...a losing proposition...but hey if it's any consolation I don't think many of us want to watch men cheer or ice skate?

I think the more interesting thing I got out of this is that you like to watch figure skating. I would not have guessed that. :fuck-you:

:)

I am not a sports fan by any means. I do however, watch some of Nascar. When my daughters were cheerleaders, I liked to watch the girls play more than I did the boys. They played hard and mean! LOL Some of the boys had problems with throwing up before they played. It was gross! Nerves, I guess, but still EWWW!

i like women's volleyball.

They put the girl's games before the dudes play for the very reason the guy thinks they should be moved. Everyone knows the dudes will get more attendance, so the girls are using that to get a better crowd for their games. The same thing was done at UNC. They always schedule the UNC/Duke women's volleyball game on the same night as Midnight Madness so the arena will be packed with the most devoted Tar Heels and give the girls their best game of the season. The girls know everyone is there for the men's basketball season, but what they dont know is we're actually there to see the spandex and they just happen to be playing volleyball.
