Well if Amazon is not going to sell Google stuff, and by default Google will probably not promote search results for Amazon, and eBay is no longer going to be using PayPal, and eBay is moving towards a more product Centric Marketplace instead of seller Centric, then it's going to be a really different e-commerce World in 6 months or a year.

Amazon has been the biggest spender on google adword for years, I doubt that will stop.

Ebay has not been seller centric for a long time. They love coming up with new ways to screw sellers. Real sellers stay because there is no other viable option. Hell, there's a huge market on ebay reselling/drop shipping from stuff amazon. Amazon is trying to steal sellers form ebay and ebay is trying to be more like amazon. If you can't make it as a seller on one, you will most likely fail at the other.

Ebay does not own paypal anymore. They spun them off a few years ago. They are going to start offering another payment service that will be built into ebay instead of using paypal outside of ebay. I'm sure they just want to get their hands on the 3% cut and have more control over the money instead of dealing with PP.

Ebay is supposedly less than 20% of paypals business.

That's what I'm thinking.
