RIP heroes of the garage, tool bag, the bread and butter.

This one hurt. Proto 1/2-3/8 drive adapter. Easily dates back to the 60s and has been up until now the only one I haven't broken.

That looks like the effect of a cheater bar of the end of something that should have been bigger to begin wit! lol.

Does that say not guaranteed on the bottom?

Looking at that diff cover in the background that makes the Titanic wreckage look clean, I'd say your intentions weren't entirely pure when you used a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter.
Because.... Dana 60. Everybody needs a few of them as spares. On the way home from work. With the improper tools to start with.

I feel your pain, I just bought a set of 05 super duty axles... they look like they are in about the same shape...

$1200 vacuum exploded, only 3 years old. Ordered a new one this week, should be here next week. I don't have a pic of the motor bearing that froze and destroyed my sander but a sad week for James Wilmoth Flooring...

If i ever find the 2 (recently) broken 3/8 drive rachets that I threw somewhere in the backyard within 5 minutes of each other .... I take a pic and referencr the distance.
