I know there are some pictures in the past events thread but I got tired of skimming through every page. Most of this was the group I rode around with.

Nick check this out! If we had one of these there at that river where both of out rear diffs kept getting hung up, we would've made it! http://www.quadratec.com/products/12523_203.htm they have one for the 8.25 as well

Wouldn't waste your money on that unless you want bolt on. Just get you a sheet of steel, cut it and tack weld it around the rough spots on the diff, smack the crap out of it with a hammer to shape it into place. Then put the finishing welds on it. :)

Idea came from Greg Slade. heheh

I don't think the bolt on thing would hold up to a beating. It looks kinda flimsy. Welding some steel onto your diff would definitely hold up.

for those that I didn't get to put a face with a screen name, The guy wandering aimlessly around all day in the white T-shirt and black cap on the right in this photo is me. and if I'm not mistaken, that's my old front bumper!

Thanks for adding the pic of my stack Trooper, I had forgotten my camera.

mbalbritton: Haha paid a little more than $50 for it haha But its a stout bumper, actually got in a wreck and it saved my jeep from being totaled. broke at the front right weld. Welded it back up after flattening it out and looks good as new!

really? dang, i need some diff protection anyway, but did i just need bigger tires? I'm running 32's and im pushing it

Honestly, the diff armor isn't going to make too much of a difference. Work on fine tuning your skills and find ways to put the diff to the side of obstacles or position your tires so it lifts the diff over the obstacle. The diff armor would come in handy if you have my attitude, if it don't go, floor it.

Lockers would have helped the most, They were trying to drive around the hang up, But it caused them to lift a tire and it just wasn't able to gain traction.

Haha yeah JC! I wish there was a warranty on that haha, BUT, i fixed it now and its still just as strong! Its such a solid design! The center and left side didnt budge at all.
Cltdba: Yeah its my DD and trail rig so the attitude "If it dont go, Floor it" isnt really an option when I'm so far from home haha
burrellsjeep: Yeah that was a tricky little section. As for lockers, I've got an Aussie up front, you think a Rear would've helped more?
