Got them used. They are the 37" mtr's with 32 bolt beadlocks. The wheels are from rockstomper and were built by frankie fountain.......same guy that built dan dibbles buggy and wheels. :D

:D :D

Noah,
Looks good. If those are stamped steel outter rings then they are not rockstomper.......Scott's are all laser cut 1/4" steel....

Looks like Allied or MRT.

they have that lip on them, rockstompers are flat. like andy said...

but kickass non the less, lookin really good, what do you have left to do?

Thanks, the guy said the wheels were from rockstomper. Maybe he just meant the actual wheel and not the rings. The rings are 3/16" thick on the inside lip & there are nutserts. Just have to make some front shock hoops and finish up the rear disk brakes.

:D

Thanks Dave, plus I have a new baby boy! :D

Oops! Make that 2010! ;)

Congrats on the offspring! Mine's 11 now... still trying at times, but was great to chat on the way back from the coast yesterday... the things youngsters can come up with to talk about!

Yep, you needed a few more years added to the completion date since my son was born! :D 2010...muuuuch better. Kids do say the darndest things.

Preciate it! I'm trying to figure out what kind of rings they are. They have a small half moon divot for the bolt heads.

the wheels look good anyways. nice jeep btw ;)

Are the MRW's pretty good? They measure about 3/16" thick.

cool...I like them! The 37's look soooo much better then the 35's too.

What kind of pressure are you guys running with your beadlocks?

Last few trips I have run 6psi with my bias swampers...not sure if you will want to go that low with radials though? (Breaks sidewall down more?)

HUGE freakin diff offroad betw 6 and the 15ish I used to run...all of a sudden I really could use ram assist (those tires have a LOT more traction) and the major benefit is less pounding on the kidneys from the pebbles on the trail! Smoothes the ride out a WHOLE lot.

Looks good, I like a nice aggresive tire for the GARAGE....heh

I used to run around 12 psi when I had the 35's on regular wheels. And Sam, some people like to build thier rigs and take their time to get things right. Instead of just going to Ohio to buy one. :D :D They are a good aggresive garage tire though!! LOL

lately - 8-9 in the front, 6-8 or so in the rear.. Really depends on where your weight is, and if you find you have a hopping problem.

But, my SX's are REALLY broken in now, and flex around things great at 8-10psi that they needed 5-6 to wrap around before.

The jeep probably weighs around 3300. I'll start with 9psi and go from there. Right now I have 30psi for street. Maybe I'll bump it to 37 for street.

I'll have to take a pic tonight. Luckily I still have one 35"mtr to compare it to.
