Got to admit that Droid takes some decent photos but tell me you took a real camera too!
 
Was that "fin" called "Lion's Back"?
Lions back is the spot fromthe video we've all seen of the old Blazer (i think) coming down with out brakes and smashes at the bottom.
I hope to make it out there soon enough...
 
Looks like your having a blast John, great pics.

Since I was able to go a few years ago it makes the jealousy even worse!

Lions Back has been closed for several years.



JC! Love the pics! You look like you were a little too far to the left on Escalator. That is one of my favorite obstacles out there- with the wrong line, even the biggest buggies end up on their back.

Make sure to hit Area BFE!
 
Suggestion for a line on Pritchett Can.

Great shots JC-hope you guys have as much fun as we did two weeks ago. Here are a couple shots of a suggested fun line at Rocker Knocker on Pritchett. I did cheat-I ran the Krawlers:) Keep the pics coming. Oh yeah, is the closure of Moab Diner temp. or long term? :( We ate there a couple of times while we were there-Kokopelle chicken uuuuuummmmm!

I was cringing just looking at those pictures and how steep some of that stuff was. Then I read "Its steeper than it looks". Yikes! I'm not sure I'd have the cajones or trust my rig enough for most of the stuff out there.

I've been itching to go since I seen it.
maybe they'll open it back up just for me....

Actually the property containing Lions Back and Dump Bump was sold a few years back-supposed to be developed but so far no new construction is seen on the property. You can see the gate to Lions Back locked and fenced, the area around dump bump is "roped off" when you drive by.
 
The first year we went out it was open. We watched a few rigs go up, but with a carb on the rig there was no way I was going to attempt it. The the second year, with fuel injection installed, we "talked" about doing it, but chickened out :lol:The following year, it was closed. We said, ahh too bad cause we were going to do it that year....yea right. That vid scared me. In person that ride is insane for sure!
 
It was closed when we were there in... 2004. We were there in 2003, too, but didn't do that trail. I think my favorite trail has to be Cliffhanger. Even though it makes for a long-ass day, Golden Spike is a lot of fun, too.
